North Korean Economy

  1. It would be interesting to know about the currency convertibility and its law in north korea(NK). If the korean won is freely tradeable, than there might be no impact of this revaluation as people might temporarily shift to any alternative currency keeping only the working capital in hand. So if won is freely tradeable than
    1) minor impact due to currency rate fluctuation for the people.
    2) But in any case it is going to affect cash rich companies, which I think is the intention behind such a move.
